Evaluations and Ongoing ADHD Care

05

Do I need an existing diagnosis?

You do not need an existing diagnosis to begin. The ADHD Clarity Evaluation is for women who want to find out whether they have ADHD or AuDHD. Before Ongoing ADHD Care begins, we take time to understand your history, current concerns, previous evaluation and treatment, physical health, and what you need now. Depending on the information available and your clinical needs, the next step may be a focused assessment or The Clarity Evaluation. Once the clinical picture is clear and we agree that Ongoing ADHD Care is the right fit, we develop your treatment plan together.

06

What does AuDHD mean?

AuDHD is a community term for having both ADHD and autism. It is not a separate diagnosis in the DSM-5-TR. ADHD and autism are diagnosed individually, and they can occur together.

Fees, private payment, and superbills

07

Do you accept insurance?

Felicity, Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry, PLLC is a private-pay practice and does not participate with insurance plans. This allows care to be shaped by your needs rather than insurance requirements.

08

Can I use out-of-network benefits?

We can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan. You may wish to contact your insurer before scheduling.

09

Will I know the cost before scheduling?

Yes. Fees will be explained before any paid care is scheduled, so you can decide whether the service is right for you.
